MYSPACE RUINED MY LIFE!!!!!!!!

I saw a shirt that said this the other day and i decided it was true i have completly neglecting the wonderful bloging world for the www's cheap imitation of genuine personal contact by the way i have myspace you can find me by my e-mail or name hehe, any how life is good i got a promotion at the ol' petsmart and so im only working one job the hours are strange but nice cause i have my after noons off to play, thisng between me and my wife are good spring is here and so over all life is good! thanks to either terrorists or rich rich oil people i will not be able to go to moberly for the 3du concert which really stinks! ok well im gonna try and get back on here some we will see but i do check that ol myspace account almost 2wice a day!! i miss this why cant i go back !!!! myspace ruined my life--jRADICAL

Well folks it has been about forever since i wrote on here but several awesome things have been keeping me busy latley, the primary one being my new WIFEY yep thats right i got hitched, it was a small wedding in texas at the beach worked out pretty sweet i wish that everyone who reads this could have come but i know that it would have been tough on every one to get down there so we figured why not have a small wedding and throw a huge reception then i can just put an open invitation online so thats what we decided to do only thing is if your coming let me know so we have enough food, ok ill post the invitation later but the reception is on the 15th of this month in edmond ok yes i know thats only 10 days away so make your carpool plans now central folks i would love to see you guys, OH YEAH one more thing even if a woman wont cook you some beans they can still be a good wife go figure! and i guess when there amazing as this chick has been to mee you find that some times you cook the beans for her, strange!
other cool stuff going on we have a nice house with room for people to come and visit and a big yard for cooking out! i also have a new car acctuallay a new jeep and not a jeep in the i have a suzuki samurai and i like to call it a "jeep" kind of way i have a real deal JEEP cherokee sport 2 door 4x4 S.U.V. pictures will follow soon, along w/ wedding pictures! so i guess ill post some pictures of my beautiful bride and my handsome new car now i will write with more detail on these things if life ever slows down, by the way carissa if your reading this I LOVE YOu and will you PLEASE get in the kitchen and cook me some beans?

I feel I never told you the story of the ghost......

So i recently re discovered KAZAA! ani have to tell you i have been downloading some of the most incredible songs like right now im listening to Ghost by Phish except it is live and featuring Mr. Bela Fleck, it is quite nice, i guess the main reason for this post is to let you in on my newest music find marc broussard, the guy , i swear sings with more emotion and passion than i have heard in a while. ill post his abum cover and web page here in a secon or maybe just a banner. ok well i guess thats about it--jdv

Man I had a blast this weekend Me, Carissa , and some friends of ours all went down to Talequah, OK this weekend and floated the illinois river, i was worried my little incedent with the honey bear might make this trip a no go for me but it turned out that i healed up just in time, it also turns out there are trees and mouuntiany things in oklahoma. We met so many interesting people on the river, you wouldnt belive the variety but one thing is for sure its like a big family once you get out there people sharing food and drinks its great, now dont get me wrong it might be the side of the family you odnt wan introduce your girlfriend too but it was still fun. We ad a guys and a girls raft for most of the trip but we ended up having to stay really close to the girls beacuse i guess some of the guys out there figure a raft with three good looking girls is a raft for them to jump on and sling some woo! since all three of us guys were pretty secure in our relationships i guess it was not much to worry about and kinda funny to see how fast the girls were to cal us there husbands being that only one of them was married. Camping and cooking food over a fire was good times as well, it made me miss alot of my central buddies and buddetts, i think thats how you say girl buddies, any how i put a pic up of me and carissa and real proof there is some nice things about oklahoma (i.e. the illinois river, and talequah). ok well thats it for me catch you all later

this man is wanted for an asault on a Mr jarod vaughn, reports indicated that during a pool party/cookout at the home of mr. vaughns fiance', mr, vaughn was inocently opening a microwave where this ruthless sucker was hiding, vaughn fooled by the seemingly inocent face and "sweet" personality tried to remove the little guy who we now know only as "Honey Bear" to find that mr. "Honey Bear" was not sweet at all, vaughn was greeted with a violent spray of boiling honey all over his abdomen reigion, spraying somewhere from the lower reigion of mr "hon e. bear", this causing temporary insanity, in mr vaughn causing him to say some rather unbecoming words in a rather loud tone as he wiped off the dangerously hot liquid he noticed it was not just honey he was wiping off but skin as well.

OK so it has been a really long time since i wrote a frantic post about the soon coming demise of GSF, as you all know that day will come but for now it isnt as soon as i thought it was we are probally looking at next spring some time..now to make this apology formal i offer you yet another offering of chill to help you all find that "little fiji" inside yourselves. this album is awesome. i got it about 2 weeks ago and all i have wanted to do is blog about it, sorry again for pulling the "fire alarm" on GSF right now it looks like that isnt till next april or may kick back and enjoy--jdv

SUNBURN!

ahhhhh yeah! never in my life have i been so happy ot have a sunburn I think this means that winter is officially over. oyu see the other day i had the after noon off so i went out side with out a shirt to just enjoy the nice weather and i ended up falling asleep for about 2 hours in the sun. and getting my first sun burn of the year nothing major but enough to remind me that warm weather is hear. this has got to be one of the best times of the year. any how just thought i would share about my sunburn. thats about it.

CRAZY weekend.

this weekend Carissa and I went to Kansas City to do several things first off my older sister had another baby so we went to see her and my little sister flew up from NC for the same reason and she brought my nephew Tyler for his spring break, you cant take a kid on spring break half way across the country and not do some thing out of the ordinary especially when you have an uncle as cool as me so we went to this indoor water park called the great wolf lodge it was really sweet we stayed the night there and rode waterslides and stuff.... good times!
So this is Where the story gets good after we went to the water park and the kids were all worn out and Me,Carissa and Julie (my lil sister) were still up for some thing fun we decided to waste some money and go to the riverboat casino....... whats so crazy about that you ask? and i respond with not much until as i was walking i hear a voice yelling "JAROD!" and you know in a crowded place you never really know if you are really hearing it or not so i ignored it at first and then i heard it again and turned around to see no other than the "truffle shuffel" him self Adam Haralson he asked me what i was doing and i said wasteing money. And no sooner did those words leave my mouth did he proceed to tell me that he was kicked out of central and "THE REASON" why some of you know why and thats between you guys but i had heard that he was pretty let people know, so that was a little shocker for me but i guess he is working at the ameristar casino in KC if any one wanted to know, just a random crazy thing you dont expect to happen in life.
other than that not much went on this weekend.... well one more neat thing while i was in KC i had to take Carissa to the first place we met each other after a long telephone calling, letter writing, CIY boyfriend/girlfriend 14 year old relationship. it also happened to be the first place we kissed when we were 14 nine years ago on april 12th. when he rmom brought her to KC to visit me. who would have thunk it that i would mar ysome girl i met at CIY when i was 14 . Even more so who whould have thought she would want to marry me after knowing me when i was 14. well that was my weekend today i only had to work 4 hours so that was nice from the 13/14 hours a day i was working last week. I hope that my schedual works out mellowing down a little so i can write on here more, i miss talking to you.
Brian it was good hearing from you sounds like things are going good for you ill have to head that way some time this summer and catch some waves im only like 8 hours away i think it was good hearing from you bro. Lisa and Heather you 2 need to be online more so i can catch up with you up on that artic tundra, Scott congrats on the baby stuff my sis is moving to sedalia,MO so we will have to get together when i go visit her. Casey idont even know if you have this web address but i hope some one gets it to you. Ryan you are my motivation to Blog. Ha Ha. Cj you is a Crazy Fool! keep on rockin in the free world! Carissa Hi i know you read this even though you talk to me every day. Sorry it Has been a while since i Have posted anything, things have been kinda crazy latley first things first I GOT FIRED! i guess the technical term is layed off Its the same as getting fired but they give you a large lump sum of cash and say good luck and ill give you a good reference........yeah still doesn't feel to great...........mmmmmmh beach.... sorry i drifted off to my little jarod heaven.
On the up swing i have a new job working at PetsMart that shows some promise but right now is only about 20 hours a week, whish is a big change from 45-50 so it is kind of nice except for the whole it pays next to nothing and i have to get up at 5am but latley the weather is nice and i have really enjoyed the afternoon parts of the day. I do however have another job possiblity at the Banfeild Animal Hospital thats the vet in PetsMart they would be training me as a Vetrinary Technician....... I think thats what the tech term for vet nurse is, I think that could be fun. Any how thats whats been up. If any one finds any cool jobs in warm tropical locations please let me know. i miss every one i say we all get together at the beach for the 4th of july. peace-jaROD

In Between Dreams

Ahhhhhh a great CD Jack Johnson truly has captured the spirit of CHILL with his new cd , yesterday i found my self doing some kind of white guy dance while i was driving around listening to song #3, I found it strange that the song on the CD about laying in bed and doing nothing made me wanna go outside and just soak up life, looks like ryan has also got the new jack johnson ........... so the word is out jack johnson realsed a new CD i hope spring heard so it can hurry up and bring some of that warm , windows down, stereo up, daydreaming weather.
I get real homesick for the beach when i listen to jack, i think that it is probally beacuse he writes most of his music from a hammock, maybe that isnt true but i think the rythm of the new cd and the other two are perfect for rocking in a hammock. two CD's i strongly request for the same vibe are the soundtracks to september sessions and thicker than water, both movies directed by jack johnson and other great surfers who epidamize my "dream Life"
ok enough about music. im gonna go ill talk to you all later..........Peace

Can You Belive They Let Me Share My Thoughts Online?

Sooooooo...... Now that i have all this freedom of expression. I have no clue what to write. I guess I ll start by filling you all in in some big news in my life i got engaged its pretty crazy and the hour is late so i will save that for a later post with details and stuff but her name is Carissa and more details will be disclosed on another post.
As for the purpose of this blog i dont really think i have one yet maybe it will better help me discover myself or something like that. It should be interesting seeing what turns up on these pages after all i do have a new phone with a camera on it ............. no not that you perv but im just saying you never know what your gonna run into in oklahoma (which is where i currently live). ok time to see how all this looks.
